Heather Jansch

So this week i discovered another great artist but this time she is a sculptor, based in the UK. Her subject is mostly horses and other types of wildlife such as elephants, bears and stags. She creates fantastic sculptures in natural environments made from driftwood, bronze and twigs. I  am not often a fan of sculpture as i don't really understand it, however these are breathtaking and very impressive. They are made to life size or very close to it and the sculptures encase the spirit and characteristics of the animal. Something i think would be very difficult to capture especially with drift wood however Jansch manages brilliantly. Recreating the actions of young horses and the herding instinct...take a look.

Spencer

Just this week has seen the launch of a brand new brand "Spencer" based in London.

Spencer is a new women’s wear brand brought to market by The Social Tailor (www.socialtailor.com) Colin Gilchrist is the Creative and Marketing Director working with Judy R Clark (http://judyrclark.blogspot.com/) who Colin appointed to lead the design.

This collection is a diffusion range that has three elements of professional, leisure and evening wear. Spencer creates a chic edgy look, with simple staple pieces. They use bold colour blocking with large print in a flattering cut, to create this high end look.

Here is a preview of there Autumn/Winter 2012/13 collection.

And they will be showing in London February 12th – 14th at PURE, Stand M102

Internationally acclaimed equestrian artist,
Judi Kent Pyrah's paintings are truely amazing. She capture's the movement and grace of the beautiful species of Arabian horses. She began painting at the age of 17. She enjoys painting horses and dogs and lives a great life in France breeding horses and captures the power and characteristics of these beautiful horses she keeps. Judi has exhibited in Canada, America and the UK. She is one of the countries leading equestrian artists. Personally she is the most talented Equestrian Artist i have ever discovered, her paintings just have so much life in them and the subject she choses are just as talented as i have been lucky enough to ride one of the horses she has bred the little Diva "Judals Allure" a stunning grey Arabian horse.

Mugler S/S 12

Today I discovered a new designer unknown to myself. Why I haven't noticed Creative Director of Mugler Nicola Formichetti yet i have no idea. Her Spring Summer 2012 collection shown at Paris Fashion Week is A-M-A-ZING!!! The Pattern cutting has been exqusitly executed. Mezmirising....Innovative...and Intellegently Clever. She creates her own women showing empowerment with closely fitted clothing, with selectively cut out panelling creating an allure. The detail and thought that has been put into this collection has been very creative even down to the unusual shoes, and the alien styling, it all contributes to the creation of the Mugler Women. 

Only in my dreams could I make a collection like this. 

"I am Mugler woman, don't fuck with me, don't fuck with Mugler. Do you want to anger Mugler woman? She will eat you," sings Lady Gaga in Mugler's new spring/summer 2012 video. 

Lady GAGA is the muse for Mugler and helped in the creation of the shows video by creating the music and atmosphere to compliment the empowerment of the Mugler Woman!
